My Opinion About RickSavage:
According to the bio on his tour page, Rick Savage has worked in porn since 1982 and in fetish since 1986. His experience consisted of kinky sex with wild girlfriends, but he picked up directing fetish videos in the 1990s. With this in mind he has had over 20 years in porn and at least a decade involved in fetish and he loves S&M. As for just how much he enjoys it, well, you can check out his personal website called RickSavage.
The members' area is a fairly simple set-up, but it looks like it's geared more toward the network than to any one individual site like RickSavage. Even the featured update is from a different site in the network, but the great news is that there are 39 fetish and BDSM sites adding up to a whole lot of kink. Of these sites, 15 fit into the bondage and BDSM category, but other niches include spanking, fisting, smothering, nylons, latex and even smoking if that floats your boat. There are also femdom videos, of course, but when it comes to Masters and sexy female slaves, Master Len is the only other fellow with a personal website. This isn't to say that other sites like PainFreaks, BondageAuditions and AmateurBDSMVideos don't offer other damsels in distress being tortured and pleasured by dominating men.
Finding network sites is a breeze, but navigation through videos, while not difficult, could be improved. In fact, there really aren't many sorting features. In any case, what you'll find on Rick Savage is 115 total episodes. Now, I don't know how long the site has been around, but I last reviewed it in 2007 and at that time there were 64 movies. The site hasn't grown exponentially over these past four years, but at least it has expanded. However, while the site appears to be updating weekly at the current moment, I think it's a safe bet that eventually the updates with stop coming in as Savage and his girls take a hiatus.
I guess this leaves the content. There are some nice write-ups describing the girls and scenes and you can pretty much bank on an amateur affair. Savage is a rugged looking man, which will certainly appeal to a certain number of the submissive models. There are video captures with each movie and the episodes come in low and high resolution Flash streams and MP4 downloads. The downloads seemed fast to me and file sizes can hover around 500MB or more. The episodes tend to run for approximately 40 minutes give or take. The best download quality is 1630kbps, 600x400, which does seem a touch outdated for this day and age.
The movies can seem a little dark at times, but the filming is very smooth and the dungeons and game rooms are filled with some pretty intriguing and sometimes intimidating BDSM furniture. I was expecting the films to be less polished than they turned out to be. The scenes retain a look that can appear to be homemade, but the films are professional and there are some really great angles of bound girls. The action depends on the mood of the Master, but he loves biding them with ropes, torturing their tits and pussies, displaying them in vulnerable positions and spanking them.
Final Verdict:
Rick Savage doesn't have as much content as I felt it should have, especially considering the length of time that has passed since my last review. The quality of the content isn't amazing, but the movies are clear, downloads are fast and playback smooth. In the end, when you consider the full network access to 39 fetish and BDSM sites, I think you do get your dollars worth, but bear in mind that the navigation is mediocre and there really isn't much personality to the network as a whole.
